I tweeted out your reflection— always nice to bring it back to class warfare Marx would be proud and so would Mother Jones.

Thank you for telling it like it really is.... very well put, and true.

We are so distracted by what the media offers up to us (most media anyway, excluding a lot of independent media like Common Dreams and others like them), they just don't mention what they don't want you to think about. I don't click on stories that are junk/unimportant-- I feel I am voting with my clicks for what I want. Computers of all types are like any other tool- can be used for good, or bad... Americans are being socialized to being fairly immune to bad news, because we hear it constantly-- though I don't think anyone feels immune to bad news that affects them directly, for sure.

I'm constantly being accused of 'saying the wrong thing and making waves'. I'm that person that generally will not walk around the elephant in the room and pretend that I don't see and smell it. I'm the 4yr old that answers the phone and say: my momma said that she ain't home. I also take 'why' to the next level and ask, 'who said so'. I refuse to pretend that the piss that's raining down on me is 'life giving water'', the wealthy and powerful are extremely thinned-skinned. They're cruel and heartless. And why shouldn't they be? Because they can. They take and take while telling you to 'pull yourself up' and 'a real American don't need help from the government'. Well then it stands to reason that they don't need the government to help them out, so now they need to give back all of the $$ that they get from the government. Now, tell me why I'm wrong for concluding that?
